Sweet and Spicy Honey Pepper Chicken with Creamy Macaroni Cheese.

 


 

 Savor a perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors in this comforting dish. 

 

 Ingredients: 

 - 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 

 - Salt and pepper to taste 

 - 1 tablespoon olive oil 

 - 1/2 cup honey 

 - 1/4 cup soy sauce 

 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 

 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 

 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 

 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 

 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper 

 - 8 ounces macaroni pasta 

 - 2 tablespoons butter 

 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 

 - 2 cups milk 

 - 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese 

 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 

 - Chopped parsley for garnish 

 

 Prepare the Chicken: 

 1️⃣ Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and set aside. 

 2️⃣ Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly (about 2-3 minutes). Slice the chicken into strips and return to the skillet to coat evenly with the sauce. 

 3️⃣ Cook the Macaroni: Boil macaroni pasta as per package instructions, drain and set aside. 

 4️⃣ Prepare the Cheese Sauce: In a separate pot, melt butter and stir in flour, cooking for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth, cooking until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and mix in both cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper. 

 5️⃣ Combine and Serve: Mix the cooked pasta with the cheese sauce, ensuring it's well coated. Serve the creamy macaroni topped with honey pepper chicken and garnish with chopped parsley.
